Happy equinox
Signs are getting fresher every day. I found last night's fawn unraveled down the trail this morning, a cougar kill stolen by coyotes, limbs scavenged for their sinew. Better eat now. It's just going to get colder. Towmorrow the sun passes north of the equator and we begin the long slide into winter, a season this fawn has no need to endure.
